University of Leeds Scholarship: There are several subject-specific scholarships available to undergraduate students once they successfully complete their studies at the Leeds International Study Centre and transfer to the University of Leeds. Read the details of the scholarship carefully.

University of Leeds Scholarship Programme for Undergraduates

To be eligible for any of these scholarships, students must have achieved enough academically.

University of Leeds Scholarship Programme

The International Undergraduate Scholarship in Science and Engineering.

Subject to successful development, students from the Leeds International Study Centre who transfer to the participating Science and Engineering schools and faculties are eligible for a £2,000 scholarship per year for a maximum of four years. Applying terms and conditions

Eligible schools and faculties: Biological Sciences, Computing, Chemistry, Chemical and Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic, and Electrical Engineering, Earth and Environment, Food Science and Nutrition, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, and Psychology.

The School of Law’s International Undergraduate Scholarship

This is given to any first-year international student who considerably outperforms the standards for admission. Once the results are available, candidates from the Leeds International Study Center are evaluated on an individual basis.

The procedure is automatic, and the prize is a £2500 fee reduction. Applying terms and conditions

Faculty of Biological Sciences Dean’s Excellence Scholarship

Students at the Leeds International Study Centre are eligible for this £5,000 grant, which is given out automatically to deserving candidates. Applying terms and conditions

School of Psychology’s Head of School Excellence Scholarship

Leeds International Study Centre students can be considered for this award of £4000 which is automatically awarded to high-achieving applicants. Terms and conditions apply.

Scholarship Availability

For international and UK/EU undergraduate students beginning their undergraduate studies in 2024, the University of Leeds is offering the aforementioned scholarships. Academic achievement serves as a primary granting criterion for eligibility for all of these awards.

School of History

The University provides a variety of undergraduate financial options to assist you while you are a student with us.

Whether you are a UK/EU or international student, as well as other qualifying requirements, will affect the financial support you are eligible to receive. The university’s undergraduate finance overview has more information.

A means-tested undergraduate scholarship may be available to UK undergraduate students whose household income is less than £42,875 per year.

School of History Scholarships:

Katrina Honeyman Scholarship

UK/International: International only

The Katrina Honeyman Scholarships are available to international students through the School of History. Up until her retirement, Katrina Honeyman (1950–2011) taught social and economic history in the School of History.

In honor of her career-long encouragement and support of students, the scholarships bear her name.

Value: what money is on offer: An annual award of £2,000 towards the cost of tuition fees in each year of study.

Who is eligible: All international students who are offered a place (on our BA History or BA International History and Politics courses) will automatically be considered for the scholarships that are awarded in recognition of outstanding academic performance.

How to Apply

Students mentioned above will automatically be considered.
