NSCDC Recruitment 2023 Requirements
Certain requirements must be satisfied before applying to join the NSCDC. Please review the list of requirements listed below in order to be considered for selection.
1. The candidate must be in good health and have a verified medical report from one of the government hospitals.
2. The candidate must be a naturalized Nigerian.
3. Male candidates must be at least 1.7 meters tall, while female candidates must be at least 1.64 meters tall.
4. Male candidates must have a chest measurement of at least 0.87 meters when completely inflated.
There must be no physical or mental disabilities in the candidate.
5. Candidate must have completed WASSCE with a minimum of 5 credit passes in core subjects such as mathematics and English language in no more than two sittings.
6. Applicants with higher degrees such as HND, BSC, etc can also apply and must present their NYSC discharge certificate, Degree, or HND Certificate.

The pay scale for NSCDC officers is determined by the certificate or qualification they possess.
