JAMB UTME Subject Combinations
- English Language is required for all courses in the UTME.
Adult and Non-Formal Education programmes at the aforementioned institutions require three additional subjects:
- Government/History,
- One social science subject;
- and Any other subject.
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for Adult and Non-Formal Education as a UTME candidate, you must have five SSCE credits, including English and Mathematics, or a TC II pass in English and at least four other courses.
Three of literature: English, history, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, CRK, Islamic studies, geography/physics, economics, government, and mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver Remarks)
- UNIPORT requires five O’ level credit passes in the English Language, the teaching topic, and any of the other three.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates:
To apply for adult and non-formal education as a Direct Entry applicant, you need:
- Two ‘A’-level passes.
- NCE with passes in two merit-level subjects.

- UNIPORT – No Direct Entry
