During their Fellowship, participants will have the opportunity to refine their skills by collaborating with mission-driven organizations.

They will be actively involved in designing, executing, and overseeing projects and programs within the social impact sector.

These Fellows play a crucial role in advancing Atlas Corps’ mission of strengthening U.S.-based organizations by leveraging their international perspectives and expertise to achieve social impact goals.

Candidates can apply their skills and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

1. Program and Project Design and Planning

  • Developing annual and project-specific action plans and timelines
  • Creating program concept outlines and frameworks
  • Setting goals and defining tasks
  • Managing risk assessment charts
  • Streamlining resource allocation and budget planning
  • Contributing to program strategy development.

2. Program and Project Coordination and Implementation

  • Organizing and coordinating tasks
  • Monitoring program metrics and objectives
  • Managing program finances
  • Facilitating communication about program design and execution
  • Establishing program directives and protocols
  • Supervising task progress across teams
  • Addressing any program-related challenges that arise.

3. Program Learning

  • Researching specific social issues to stay informed about current trends and effective approaches
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Enhancing program tools and methodologies
  • Gathering feedback from on-site personnel.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships
  • Communicating with and assisting program beneficiaries and stakeholders

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this fellowship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a college degree

2. Possess a high level of English proficiency

3. Be under the age of 35

4. Demonstrate a commitment to applying their acquired experience in their home country or region upon completing the program.

5. Ideal candidates should also have a minimum of two years of experience in the implementation and management of programs and projects, preferably in one of the following areas of social concern (list provided).
