2. Bunker Hill Community College Scholarship Award
Designed for transfer students from Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) who have received nominations from their institution.
Award Amount: Full tuition coverage
Application Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by March 1. This opportunity is exclusively available to September-term transfer applicants.
Eligibility Requirements: A minimum GPA of 3.5 at BHCC and graduation from one of the Boston Public High schools are prerequisites.
Credit Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of 60 transferable credits.
3. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship Award
This scholarship program recognizes exceptional academic and leadership accomplishments within the Phi Theta Kappa community who aspire to transfer to Boston University.
Advisors of Phi Theta Kappa chapters can nominate up to two individuals for consideration.
Award Amount: $25,000
Number of Scholarships: Up to five recipients selected from the nominated candidates.
Application Deadline: Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisors must submit nomination forms by March 1.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have completed a minimum of 60 transferable credits.
4. Roxbury Community College Scholarship Award
This scholarship opportunity is for chosen transfer students from Roxbury Community College (RCC) who have been nominated by RCC.
Award Amount: Full tuition coverage
Application Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by March 1, and eligibility is restricted to September-term transfer applicants.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 at RCC.
Credit Requirements: A minimum of 60 transferable credits is mandatory.
5. BU Community Service Award for Transfer Students
The BU Community Service Award is a distinctive program open to transfer students who are graduates of a Boston Public High School.
Award Amount: Financial need is met without loans, covering the full calculated financial needs of students.
Application Deadline: Applicants must submit their application for admission and the FAFSA and CSS Profile™ by the September-term or January-term transfer deadlines.
Details: All Boston Public High School graduates will receive financial aid without loans, up to their calculated financial need.
Participants in the program are matched with a University faculty or staff mentor and engage in the broader Boston community through various community service initiatives.
