About Prathibha Scholarship Programme
The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment has established a Student Programme for Excellence in Experimental Design.
The organization is currently welcoming applications for a scholarship initiative aimed at assisting students engaged in science-related studies.
Eligible students will have the opportunity to receive an annual scholarship of INR 60,000, facilitating their uninterrupted educational pursuits.

Benefits of the Prathibha Scholarship
The recipients of this scholarship will enjoy the following advantages:
For undergraduate programs or the initial 3 years of an Integrated MSc course:
1. First year: Students will be granted INR 12,000
2. Second year: Students will be awarded INR 18,000
3. Third year: Students will receive INR 24,000
1. First year: Students will receive INR 40,000
2. Second year or fifth year: Students will be provided with INR 60,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must adhere to the subsequent eligibility criteria:
1. The candidate should be a resident of Kerala and must have completed their Higher Secondary Examination in Kerala (ICSE/CBSE/Kerala State Board).
2. An average score of 90% or an equivalent cumulative grade across all subjects is required.
3. An average score of 90% or an equivalent cumulative grade in all science subjects combined is necessary.
4. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum average requirement is relaxed to 80% or an equivalent cumulative grade.
5. The candidate should have enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Integrated Bachelor’s cum Master’s Degree program in Basic and Natural Sciences.
Selection Criteria
The applicant must undergo the subsequent selection criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
A total of 100 scholarships are conferred annually, with 10% earmarked for SC/ST candidates and 50% designated for female candidates.
The selection and ranking of students are determined by their cumulative marks achieved in the Higher Secondary Board Examination across all Science subjects.
Documents Required
The scholarship application necessitates the submission of the following documents:
1. A completed Student Data Sheet, signed by the applicant and endorsed by the Head of the Institution where the applicant is enrolled for the Degree Course.
2. A self-attested copy of the Mark list from the Higher Secondary Board Examination.
3. A Community Certificate for SC/ST applicants.
4. A Certificate validating the applicant’s ‘Place of Origin’ [Applicant must have Kerala origin].
5. The “Terms & Conditions” document, signed appropriately.
6. The E-payment form in the designated format.

7. Provide all necessary details and upload the requisite documents to successfully register for the scholarship.
