First of all, you need to find the apps you have subscribed to. This is very helpful just in case you might have subscribed to a lot of apps and have forgotten to keep tapping on them.
This is how you find a list of your Google Play Store subscriptions:
- Launch the Google Play Store.
- Tap on your profile icon.
- Select Payments & subscriptions.
- Go into Subscriptions.
- You’ll be able to see both your Active and Expired subscriptions here.
Bonus Trick: You Can Pause Your Google Play Subscription for a While
Here’s a bonus for you, just in case you run out of cash and you need to pause your subscription to resume it at a later time. Here’s how you go about it:
- Launch the Google Play Store.
- Tap on your profile icon.
- Select Payments & subscriptions.
- Go into Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to pause.
- Tap Manage.
- If the app offers this option, you will see Pause payments. Select this option.
- You will be able to select the period you’d like to pause.
- The last thing you will do is press Confirm
Note: Only some apps offer this, but it’s worth checking if they do.

How to Cancel Google Play Store Subscription
- Launch the Google Play Store app
- Tap on your profile icon.
- Select Payments & subscriptions.
- Go into Subscriptions.
- Find the subscription you want to cancel and select it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.
- You may be asked to select a reason for the cancellation. Choose one from the options and tap Continue, followed by Cancel subscription.
What Happens After You Cancel Your Subscription
When you cancel a subscription you’ll still be able to use your subscription for the time you’ve already paid.
For example, if you buy a one-year subscription on Jan. 1 for $10 and decide to cancel your subscription on August 1;
- You’ll have access to the subscription until Dec. 31.
- You won’t be charged another yearly subscription of $10 the following Jan. 1.
- For Play Pass subscriptions, you’ll lose access to paid apps & games, in-app purchases, and ad-free experiences unlocked by your subscription
When you cancel your subscription it won’t automatically renew itself again. You will have to restart the subscription again.
