Tip two: Scroll through the results to find Amazon Alexa. Select the Blue Cloud download button next to the app to download it.

Tip three: When the app is downloaded, select Open.

Tip four: Since this is your first time using the app, you’ll be asked to log in with your Amazon account email and password. Input this information and select Sign-in.

Tip five: Confirm your name and proceed. You have the option to set up a voice ID at this time, but you can always skip it and return to it later.

When finished, choose Set Up My Features to implement some important Alexa settings, like your contacts for making calls, notifications, and so on. Choose Done when you’re ready

Once connected the Alexa is ready to be used… Here are the steps you should follow to pair Alexa with your iPhone 

Step One; Activate Bluetooth from the Settings of your iPhone

  • As stated earlier, the only way to pair Alexa to your iPhone is through Bluetooth. 
  • To activate Bluetooth on your iPhone, just head over to Settings-> Bluetooth menu. Then, toggle to turn the Bluetooth switch on.

Step Two: Make sure your Alexa device is on so that your phone can easily pair

Step three; Wait Patiently for your iPhone to scan for compatible Bluetooth devices nearby

  • This shouldn’t take long.. Just about a few minutes you are good to go. Make sure to do step two, if not step three won’t work.

Step four: Look for Alexa from the list of available devices and then tap on it

Step Five; When prompted, enter the Bluetooth pairing code to confirm the pairing process

  • Follow the rest of the onscreen instructions until you see the Pairing Successful message

In other ways, you can just say the phrase “Alexa! Pair” or “Alexa, Connect to (iPhone name)” so that your Alexa device will automatically initiate the Bluetooth pairing mode and start scanning for nearby devices.

After a few seconds, you’ll get a notification on your iPhone display screen asking for approval of the pairing request. Just press Pair to affirm Bluetooth pairing on the two devices.

Once your devices are efficiently paired and connected, you can start using your iPhone with your Alexa device.

If you’re pairing your iPhone with an Alexa speaker, you’ll typically hear a voice message from the Alexa system when they’re connected.
