How to Screen Record on iPhone
You can create a screen recording and capture sound on your iPhone.
1. Go to Settings > Control Center, then tap the Insert Screen Recording button next to Screen Recording.
2. Open Control Center, tap the Screen Recording button, then wait for the three-second countdown.
3. To stop recording, open Control Center, tap the Selected Screen Recording button or the red status bar at the top of the screen, then tap Stop.
4. Go to Photos, then select your screen recording.
How to Edit Your Screen Recording on an iPhone
Open the Pictures app on your iPhone and choose the video you want to edit. When you tap Edit in the top-right corner of your screen, a variety of editing options will show up beneath the video.
To save your changes after finishing editing your video, tap Done.
Note: Depending on how you open the video, the Edit button may also show up in the bottom-right corner.
You have the following editing options available for any videos you have saved to your Photos app:
1. iPhone Video Trimming & Cutting
Tap the icon for the video camera to chop or trim your video. To trim the beginning or conclusion of the video, tap and hold either end of the yellow box.

2. Color and Lighting Editing
Tap the icon that resembles a dial with dots around it to modify the color and lighting of your video. You can then press the various choices to change the contrast, shadows, sharpness, brightness, and other settings.
3. Adding Filters
You can apply filters to your video to make it warmer, colder, or more monochromatic, just like with photos. To achieve this, select one of the filters by tapping the icon with the three overlapping circles.

How to Take a Screenshot
1. Choose between the following:
- To use Face ID on an iPhone, simultaneously push and release the volume up and side buttons.
- To use the side button and Home button simultaneously on an iPhone with a Home button, press and hold both buttons.
2. Tap the screenshot, then tap Done in the bottom-left corner.
3. Choose Delete Screenshot, Save to Files, or Save to Photographs.
If you select Save to Photos, you may view it in the Pictures app’s Screenshots album or, if iCloud Photos is enabled in Settings > Photographs, the All Photos album.
How to Save Full-Page Screenshots as PDFs
A webpage, document, or email that is longer than the width of your iPhone screen can be captured as a full-page, scrolling snapshot, and saved as a PDF.
1. Choose one of these:
- To use Face ID on an iPhone, simultaneously push and release the volume up and side buttons.
- To use the side button and Home button simultaneously on an iPhone with a Home button, press and hold both buttons.
2. Choose Full Page by tapping the screenshot in the lower-left corner.
3. Attempt one of the following:
- Save the image After selecting Save PDF to Files and selecting a location, hit Done, then tap Save.
- Share the screenshot: Tap the Share button, choose a sharing option (for example AirDrop, Messages, or Mail), enter any other requested information, then send the PDF.
