PTK Scholarships: Students join PTK due to scholarships. This is why: They provide two different kinds of scholarships to aid students in finishing their associate degrees and getting ready to transfer to a four-year university. Through PTK’s Foundation, about $1 million in highly selective scholarships are provided to help students finish their degrees.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships
PTK’s competitive scholarship application is open year-round with two deadlines namely below:

PTK Scholarships Categories
1. Transfer Student
Major challenges for transfer students include cost and financial aid, particularly if you are responsible for paying for your own education.
When choosing where to transfer, there are many aspects to take into account. However, you should give transfer-friendly institutions, like our roughly 800 four-year college partners that offer $46 million in scholarships exclusively for PTK members, precedence.
Each year, partner colleges award an average transfer scholarship worth $2,500!
2. Associate Degree
Applications open in the spring. More than 200 scholarships were awarded; Up to $5,000 each.

3. Nursing Students Scholarship
Students are drawn to nursing careers because of a desire to care for, serve or help others. Through nearly $1 million in scholarships offered through our Foundation, PTK provides resources to serve nursing students just like you.
With the help of partners like Hurst Review and special member-only NCLEX© review course subscription discounts, you gain access to scholarships to pay for school and pass your licensing exam.
4. Veterans Scholarship
Veterans rejoining society as a civilian encounter many obstacles but pursuing higher education shouldn’t be one of them.
PTK wants to help translate your military skillsets into meaningful experiences to flex your leadership and quick-thinking skills to earn scholarships.
PTK offers nearly $1 million in scholarships through our Foundation, and with the help of partners like the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, there are scholarships allocated exclusively for Veterans and those currently serving in the military that complement your GI Bill.
5. Dual Enrollment Students
It’s tough to pursue a high school degree while earning college credits. Whether you choose to attend a two- or four-year college after graduation, They’ve got you covered.
PTK offers nearly $1 million in scholarships through its Foundation for students to complete an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree.
6. Career Tech Students
Economic success is the product of a skilled workforce. Get there faster by earning scholarships to offset the cost of certifications, tools, or trade-specific items needed to enter the workforce.
PTK continues to grow career-tech opportunities with the support of Hurst Review to help nursing students pass the NCLEX®, Walgreens to aid pharmacy technician students in earning certifications, and scholarships for all career-bound students, funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation.
