Faculties Available at the Waterloo University

Waterloo is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and a publicly financed research institution.

With autumn, winter, and spring terms, it runs on a term-based basis. 24,377 full-time and part-time undergraduate students make up the bulk of the school’s enrollment in undergraduate programs.

During the 2016–2017 academic year, the institution awarded 5,741 bachelor’s degrees, 1,605 master’s degrees, 332 doctoral degrees, and first professional degrees.

The university is divided into six faculties, each of which oversees more than fifty academic departments and thirteen schools.
