Under the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India for OBCs and others (PM –YASASVI), students who fall under the OBC, EBC, or DNT categories are eligible to apply for financial aid.

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and state governments assist the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) in carrying out the program.

Applicants for the scholarship must have a family income of less than ₹2.5 lakh per year. Only Indian students who reside in any State or Union territory may apply for the scholarship program, which is funded by the federal government.

Two levels of awards are made for the scholarship:

1.For candidates studying Class 9 – ₹75,000 per year

2.For candidates studying in Class 11 – ₹1,25,000 per year

Eligibility Criteria

In order to guarantee a spot in the YASASVI entrance exam, candidates need to adhere to the following emphasized requirements:

1. Candidates have to be citizens of India.

2. Applicant categories must include OBC, EBC, or DNT.

3. Candidates must have completed Class 8 or Class 10, depending on the circumstances, in the 2022–2023 school year.

4. Their parents’ or guardians’ combined annual income should be more than ₹2.5 lakh.

5. Applicants for the Class 9 examinations must be born between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2011 (inclusive).

6. Applicants for the Class 11 examinations must be born on or between April 1, 2005, and March 31, 2009, inclusive.

7. The same standards apply to boys and girls, therefore all genders are welcome to apply.

How to Apply?

Candidates can apply for the YASASVI entrance exam in the following ways:

1. Go to yet.nta.ac.in to access the YASASVI scheme’s official webpage.

2. Locate the registration link on the left side of the page, then select “New Candidate Register Here.”

3. Once you’ve registered online, take note of the Application Number that the system created. This is necessary for completing the form’s remaining steps and for any upcoming correspondence or references.

4. Now that the application form has been generated by the system, candidates can log in and complete it by providing their personal information, requesting to take a specific class test, selecting their preferred exam city, and other tasks.

5. Once all the information has been carefully entered, submit the application.

6. For future use, download the YASASVI scheme application form.
