For students applying to different educational programs and scholarship services, it is a one-stop shop.  The website is in charge of overseeing the distribution and overall execution of the scholarship programs.

The National Scholarship Portal offers 118 scholarship programs valued at hundreds of crores to individuals who register.

Data for the academic year 2023 shows that NSP helped the government execute and grant scholarships reaching more than ₹2,800 crores.

For the 2023–2024 academic year, students can apply online for NSP scholarships on the official website.

The NSP Scholarship has an extended deadline of January 31, 2024, although it ends on February 15, 2024.

Students in Classes 1 through 10 are eligible for financial aid through the NSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023, which offers a minimum scholarship value of Rs 10,000 and a maximum scholarship amount of Rs 1,25,000 annually. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2024.

How to Apply

6. Provide accurate information in the form.

7. Apply after uploading all necessary files.

Documents Required

In order to complete the scholarship application process on NSP, students need to upload certain supporting documents. If a student receives a scholarship worth less than ₹50,000, they are exempt from uploading documentation. It is necessary to provide a copy of the documents to the relevant institution, institute, or school.

For all other scholarships, you need to have the following documents on hand:

1. Aadhar card

2. Bank passbook

3. Documents related to education

4. Certificate of Residence (as required by the specific scholarship rules)

5. Income Certificate (as defined by the rules for each scholarship)

6. A certificate of caste if the applicant falls into a specific category.

7. A genuine student certificate from the institution (if it differs from the applicant’s state of residence)
