Venmo QR codes allow you to use your Venmo account to make contactless in-store purchases.
They already configured your Venmo account to accept QR codes in shops. Simply go to your Venmo app’s Me page and tap the QR code next to your profile image.
To allow your camera to scan codes, you may need to follow the on-screen prompts.
If you don’t see a “Show to Pay” QR code, check to make sure you’re using the most recent Venmo app version.
How to Purchases With Venmo QR Codes?
Venmo QR codes may be used to make purchases in two ways:
If the merchant provides you with a QR code, simply scan it to complete the transaction. To finalize the transaction, you must confirm the purchase on your app.
Tap “Show to Pay” to provide your QR code if the retailer needs to scan your in-store QR code.
If you wish to switch payment methods, you must do so before the merchant scans your code.

Venmo does not support individual merchants’ point-of-sale systems.

When shopping online, you can link your Venmo account to some of your favourite shopping applications and mobile websites, and then spend the money in Venmo or a linked funding source at checkout.
You may also pay using Venmo in-store. Simply scan the retailer’s QR code at checkout, or have the store scan yours from your phone.
Simply choose “Scan” and then “Show to Pay” on the Venmo app. Then, confirm the total and choose your preferred payment option.
