University of Greenwich Accommodation

Accommodation is provided for all first-year Greenwich students. Avery Hill and Medway lodging are fairly near to their respective campuses; however, Greenwich students will have to walk for 5 or 10 minutes, depending on the rooms they choose.

The university can also assist in finding privately leased housing and ensure that all new students will be given a place to live, either in a hall of residence or in University of Greenwich-approved housing.

University of Greenwich Location

The University of Greenwich includes three campuses: Avery Hill in southeast London, Greenwich, and Medway in Kent.

Greenwich is the biggest campus, located on the banks of the Thames River, which is a World Heritage Site. With structures erected in the 17th century, it is often recognised as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world.

The Medway site is a renovated Edwardian redbrick site that contains the Engineering and Science Schools. It, like the Greenwich Campus, has historical Navy links, since it is located on the old shore base of HMS Pembroke.

The Avery Hill campus is located near Eltham, surrounded by open fields but easily accessible to the city.
