Kingston University Accommodation

Kingston gives priority to all incoming first-year undergraduate students who have firmly accepted their offer of study.

Kingston University offers six residential halls, all of which are either on campus or in the town centre. University-owned halls of residence are made up of single private rooms with a kitchen shared by 2-9 students, and the majority of rooms include an en-suite.

Some students choose to live independently in the surrounding neighbourhood rather than in resident halls.

Kingston’s specialist accommodation team can provide advice and support on acquiring private accommodation, ranging from single rooms and accommodations to complete houses and flat sharing.

A free university bus transports students between campuses, hostels, and the town centre.

Kingston University is located in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, a bustling, picturesque riverfront town about 30 minutes by rail from central London.

Kingston town centre provides something for everyone, with a variety of markets, museums, cafés, bars, and clubs. You’ll have enough to eat, see, drink, and do here.

While Kingston is close to central London, it also provides easy access to the lovely surrounding countryside.

Kingston is a short distance from Richmond Park and Hampton Court Palace, and its history dates back to Anglo-Saxon times.

Kingston is not only a great location to live, but it also has good transit links that make it easy to commute from other areas.

With two mainline rail stations, a network of bus lines, and major roads nearby, there are several ways to get to Kingston from London and the rest of the UK.

If you’re going by air, both Gatwick and Heathrow international airports are easily accessible from Kingston via road and public transit.
