For off-campus entertainment, downtown Saratoga Springs is just a mile away, offering experiences like horse races at the Saratoga Race Course and tours of the historic Saratoga Battlefield.

The nearby Adirondack Mountains provide opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and white-water rafting. For those seeking a metropolitan experience, New York, Boston, and Montreal are all approximately a three-hour drive away.

Skidmore College maintains an acceptance rate of 26%, reflecting its moderately competitive admissions process.

Among the applicants granted admission to Skidmore College who provided standardized test scores, 50% achieved SAT scores within the range of 1300 to 1460 or ACT scores between 30 and 33.

However, it’s worth noting that one-quarter of accepted students secured scores exceeding this range, while another quarter achieved scores below it.
