This is to notify all the candidates who applied for admission into the undergraduate programmes during the 2022/2023 academic session that they can now start checking their admission status.
The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) admission list has been uploaded online for applicants to check.
About Lasustech
The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) is a newly established university in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. The university was created in February 2023.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made this possible by converting the prestigious Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH). The University (LASUSTECH) is a public tertiary institution run by the Lagos State Government.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on February 12, 2023, named Dr Oluremi Olaleye as interim Vice-Chancellor. Dr Oluremi Olaleye became LASUSTECH’s first vice-chancellor as a result of this.
The school fees of the university, like most state institutions in Nigeria, are relatively low and do not exceed two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000).

How to Check the LASUSTECH Admission List
Meanwhile, as of the time of writing this article and set up for publication, the only means for Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) prospective students to access their admission status is via the JAMB admission status checking portal. Follow the procedure outlined below to check online:
To access your Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) admission status, go to the JAMB portal here
Then, log in to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
Scroll down, then locate and click the Check Admission Status tab.
Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
Finally, click on Check Admission Status to access your LASUSTECH admission status.
Candidates successfully offered admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) first-degree programmes are advised to:
- First, log in to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) here and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
- Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
- Then, Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
- Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
On the other hand, Candidates who haven’t seen their names should note that admission is in progress and regularly check the JAMB site for their admission status.

Important Points to Note
Consequently, the newly admitted students into various academic programmes of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology are requested to please take note of the following approved processes for their online clearance/registration as valid students in the University
Student prints out JAMB Admission Letter
Students proceed to pay the Acceptance fee
Students print out the necessary Forms in triplicate from the University portal for completion.
Students proceed to his/her Department for clearance with the Academic Advisor.
Student submits all duly completed Registration Forms in triplicate and six (6) photocopies of credentials to the College Officer to enhance the opening of Students’ Files.
Entry qualifications (O’level Results);
Evidence of Acceptance/School Fees payment; and
Twelve (12) Passport size photographs.
