You can delete search history by using the Gmail app, read below
On the Gmail App (Android and iOS):
- Open the Gmail App: Launch the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Access the Search Bar: Tap on the search bar at the top of the screen. This will open the recent search history.
- Clear Individual Searches:
- For Android: Long-press on a specific search term until a menu appears. Select “Delete.”
- For iOS: Swipe left on a search term and tap “Delete.”
On the Gmail Web Interface:
- Open Gmail in a Web Browser: Go to the Gmail website and sign in to your account.
- Click on the Search Bar: Click on the search bar at the top of the Gmail interface.
- View and Clear Individual Searches:
- A list of recent searches will appear. Hover over a search term, and you should see a small “X” on the right side. Click on the “X” to delete that search.
- To clear all searches, you’ll need to delete them one by one.

- Turn Off Search History: If you want to stop Gmail from saving your search history:
