Bestway Foundation Scholarship
The Bestway Foundation is pleased to extend 5 scholarships worth £26,000 (comprising tuition fees and maintenance) to students who are citizens of and reside in Pakistan.
These scholarships are intended for individuals applying to our one-year Postgraduate Masters programs in Science, Technology, and Mathematics.
The University of Kent has a rich history of welcoming international students from across the globe and is excited to introduce this new scholarship opportunity in collaboration with The Bestway Foundation.
The administration and allocation of this scholarship are solely managed by the University of Kent. Those interested in applying for the scholarship are advised not to directly contact the Bestway Foundation but instead to reach out to [email protected] for any inquiries.
The Scholarships encompass tuition fee coverage and offer a maintenance grant for the academic year 2024. Please note that this encompasses both taught Masters’s programs and master’s programs by research.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Open to individuals who are citizens of and reside in Pakistan
2. Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic achievements
3. Shortlisted candidates will also be considered based on financial need.
4. Applicants must have secured either a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time*, one-year program† in any of the following fields by the specified deadline to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Biosciences
- Chemistry and Forensic Science
- Computing
- Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science
- Physics and Astronomy
5. Candidates should be prepared for a video interview, conducted through Microsoft Teams, scheduled for the week beginning June 5th, 2024; the exact date will be confirmed.
6. It is important to note that the scholarship deadline is firm and cannot be extended for any reason. This includes candidates who have not received an offer before May 19th.
Please be aware that this scholarship is not applicable to students seeking admission to PhD programs or Masters programs that include a year in industry.”
How to Apply
1. To be eligible for this scholarship, it is required that you have submitted an application for a study program at their official website
2. Once you have confirmed your compliance with the aforementioned eligibility criteria, you can proceed to apply for this scholarship through your applicant portal.
If you have not yet received an offer for your chosen study program, the option to apply for this scholarship will not be accessible in your applicant portal. The scholarship deadline is firm and will not be extended.
3. During the application process, you will be prompted to upload both a CV and a statement that includes information about any financial circumstances you would like the selection panel to take into consideration.
4. The evaluation of applications will primarily be based on academic distinction. Where students hold equivalent academic records, those demonstrating a greater financial need will be given preference for the award.
5. All documents must be submitted in either Microsoft Word or PDF format. Kindly note that documents sent in any other format will not be reviewed. Please refrain from sending documents via Google Docs or SharePoint.”
Application Deadline
The deadline for the academic year 2024 has already concluded. Information for the 2024/25 academic year will be provided by the close of 2024.
