Scholarship Application Process
The application process for the ONGC scholarship is as follows:
1. Eligible students are required to submit their applications offline.
2. Visit the official page of the ONGC scholarship.

4. Fill in all the required details in the application form (Note: Capital letters must be used while filling out the form).
5. Upload all the supporting documents along with the completed application, duly certified and forwarded by the Dean/Head/Principal of the respective University/Institute/College.
6. Submit the application.

Selection Criteria
This scholarship is awarded based on merit, taking into consideration your academic achievements for the final selection.
The list of scholars who are ultimately selected is determined by the company itself. For those pursuing Engineering or MBBS programs, the selection is based on performance in the class 12th examination.
On the other hand, for those pursuing an MBA or Master’s course in Geology or Geophysics, the selection is based on performance at the graduation level.
In cases where students have equal marks in the qualifying examination, those with a lower family income will be given preference.
Additionally, priority is given to students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, and if a sufficient number of eligible students from BPL families are not available, consideration will be extended to other students.
