UTME and Direct Entry Requirements
Before getting admitted to Nigerian universities, students must fulfill several requirements for consideration for the UTME and Direct Entry.
Direct Entry Requirement
If you do not plan to use the UTME, you must meet these requirements to be admitted to study Applied Biology and Biotechnology through Direct Entry.
You need;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
NOTES ON SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)
(i) WUSTO consents to
(a) A minimum of two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
(b) Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes or the equivalent, along with NCE and ND upper credit.
UTME Requirement for Applied Biology and Biotechnology
To apply as a UTME candidate for Applied Biology and Biotechnology, you need five SSCE credit passes in any combination of Health Science, Statistics, Physics, and Geography, as well as English Language, Biology, Math, and Chemistry.
