Opportunity Scholarship Utah | Overview
The University of Utah understands that a racially and ethnically diverse student body promotes and enhances the educational experiences of all students, teachers, and staff.
Thus, we seek to recruit students who will contribute to this variety and make every effort to promote their academic and personal success while they are here. In support of this purpose, the Utah Opportunity Scholarship (UOS) will be awarded to first-time entering college freshmen (FTIC) who graduated from a Utah high school.
The Scholarship Committee of the Center for Equity and Student Belonging (CESB) at the University of Utah will administer and award the Utah Opportunity Scholarship.
