About Ozoro Polytechnic

Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro is a state-owned polytechnic established in 2003.

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Nigeria, has formally certified and/or recognized Delta State Polytechnic in Ozoro, Delta State.

When the Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro was initially founded, it was a College of Agriculture. On January 1, 2002, a law passed during James Ibori’s government changed it to a Polytechnic.

Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa of Delta State revealed intentions in January 2021 to turn Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, and two other institutions into a full-fledged university.

The legislation got its first reading on the 28th day of January 2021 during the plenary at the Delta State House of Assembly.

After passing the house committee on education, the bill was signed into law in February 2021.

Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro (DSPZ) Post UTME 2024/2025

The screening fee is N2,000.00 for all applicants (two thousand naira only). All candidates should access dspz.mycportal.com, login, and choose Online Application, followed by Start a New Application.

Enter your personal information and choose the course(s) of your first and second choices for the program type, school, department, and program.

To pay the application cost using a Verve or Master Card InterSwitch-equipped card, click “Pay With Card.”

Following successful payment, an Application Number and Reference Number will be produced and delivered to the provided “Email Address.” (For further information, please visit the Online Information Guide.)

Candidates for online screening must upload the following documents:

  • A single current passport photo.
  • Image of the UTME result slip.
  • Results from tests like WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB are included.
  • Certificate of Origin for Local Government.
  • Certificate of Birth or Age Declaration.
  • All applications must be submitted by January 31, 2024.

Cost of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro (DSPZ) Post UTME Form

Please note that the price for the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro Post-UTME form is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only and must be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL. However, you will have to cover the necessary bank fees.

Post UTME Eligibility

The Screening Exercise is open to all applicants who selected the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro as their first or second option. Also, who received a score of 140 or above on the UTME for the 2020–2021 Admission Exercise.

Those who scored at or above the cut-off level and did not select Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro but desire to be considered for admission to the institution may also participate in the screening exercise.

Candidates must have earned at least five (5) Credits in relevant disciplines, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings of the SSCE (WAEC & NECO), GCE O’Level, NABTEB, or its equivalent.

NOTE:

Candidates who listed Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro as their second or third preference must amend their choices before being evaluated for admission.

The Polytechnic will interact with JAMB and different testing organizations’ websites throughout the Screening Exercise.

However, applicants who falsely declare their UTME scores and Ordinary Level marks will not be taken into consideration for admission.

To guarantee accurate spelling and arrangement of names, addresses, test results, and JAMB Registration numbers. Also, for other pertinent information, the applicant should complete the required information.
