About MikeRowe Works Scholarship

Mike Rowe’s Works Foundation provides scholarships to assist people learn for high-demand skilled employment.

The United States has a skills gap, with a high need for plumbers, electricians, steamfitters, bricklayers, and other skilled professionals.

The Work Ethic Scholarship Program isn’t for everyone. It is meant to reward individuals who arrive early, stay late, and work hard daily.

It recognizes those who understand personal responsibility, delayed gratification, a good attitude, and work ethic. You must sign the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge (Skills and Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo) to be eligible for the scholarship.

Approved trade programs include automotive technology, aviation technology, carpentry, commercial driving, construction, diesel technology, electrical technology, farming and agriculture, fire science and technology, heavy equipment operation, HVAC, machinery, manufacturing, marine technology, pipefitting, plumbing, and welding.
