Dr Pepper Scholarship Requirements
This program is accessible to students aged 18 to 24 who are currently enrolled or plan to enrol in an approved two or four-year college or institution.
Applicants must write an essay on their aims and how they intend to affect the world, including a 50-character introduction and a 350-character explanation.
They must also submit one-minute movies describing how obtaining this tuition would change their lives, demonstrating their personalities, and outlining their academic and professional objectives.
Based on these videos, finalists are chosen and invited to the championship games of five college football conferences: the Pac-12 in Santa Clara, California, the Atlantic Coast Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Big Ten in Indianapolis, the Southeastern Conference in Atlanta, and the Big 12 in Arlington, Texas.
During halftime of those nationally broadcast games, the finalists from each match compete by attempting to hurl footballs into a goal.
Each game has a champion, runner-up, and two consolation award recipients determined by the number of footballs thrown into the goal.
