Scholarships for Domestic Students

UNSW Scholarships are for all students from domestic, international, and even transfer students. Below is a list of them, check for their eligibility and apply:

1. Academic Achievement Award

This scholarship is available to students who achieve the highest raw ATAR (not including adjustment factor points) at NSW and ACT high schools.

Award: Receive $5,000 for one year.

2. Equity Scholarships

If you’re from an identified low-SES background UAC will automatically generate an application for equity scholarships as part of your UAC application.

You only need to submit an EAS or equity scholarship application if you want us to know about any additional hardships that have affected your studies.

3. Scientia Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students who achieve a raw ATAR score (or equivalent) of 99.90 or above in an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Award: Receive $10,000 for the duration of your program.

Scholarships for International Students

UNSW Scholarships are for all students from domestic, international, and even transfer students. Below is a list of them, check for their eligibility and apply:

1. UNSW Co-op Program

This is not your normal scholarship. If you’re high achieving and ambitious, the Co-op Program offers leadership and professional development training, three major industry placements, networking opportunities, mentoring, and financial support of $19,600 per year.

2. Australia’s Global Award

This scholarship supports motivated international students to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Through Australia’s Global Award, your future as a global citizen is supported, recognized, and powered at UNSW.

Award: Receive $5,000 or $10,000 per year.

3. India Future of Change Scholarship

This scholarship supports motivated international students from India with high academic achievement who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world.

Award: Receive $10,000 per year.

4. UNSW Global Academic Award

This award recognizes the achievements of UNSW Global students who have successfully completed a UNSW Global Foundations program to progress to a bachelor’s degree at UNSW.

Award: Receive $5,000 or $10,000 for the first year of your undergraduate degree.

5. International Student Award

Receive 15% toward tuition fees for every year of your program. Available for international students from eligible countries starting at UNSW in 2023.
