About the University of Jos
The University of Jos was established in 1975 as a federally owned and sponsored university.
The university is based in Jos and is dedicated to producing excellent graduates who can address challenges in many businesses around the country.

The University of Jos Admission Requirements
The following are the general entry requirements approved for admission into the institution.
1. Candidates who registered for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) at the University of Jos.
2. Candidates for the UTME must have a minimum JAMB and/or institutional cut-off marks or higher for the programs applied for.
3. Candidates must also achieve the O’level credits necessary for their programs as mentioned in the JAMB Brochure.
4. The candidate must be at least 16 years old.
5. Candidates who did not choose the University of Jos during their UTME/DE registration but intend to study at the university could do so through the JAMB website.
