Are you anticipating receiving the UF scholarships? All you need is the appropriate information, and we provide that for you. We urge you to carefully study this post and pay attention to the information that will be presented when you do so.
About UF Scholarships
The admissions office has a limited amount of scholarships available for freshmen selected for enrollment who submit their applications by the priority deadlines and learn their status on our February Decision Day.
It is not necessary to submit a separate application, additional papers, or current data for examination.
The evaluation process employs a similar comprehensive methodology to the admissions screening process.
Academic achievement, success on standardized tests, extracurricular activities, leadership potential, volunteer work, and personal writing are all taken into account when awarding scholarships.
More Information on UF Scholarships
Their incoming freshman class consistently does incredibly well in all the aforementioned criteria, which makes awarding scholarships challenging!
Due to the limited amount of scholarships available, recipients of similar test scores, grades, extracurricular engagement, and other considerations may receive a different scholarship.
Each year, 10% or so of the approved students receive a merit scholarship.
Students who have been selected for one of our merit-based scholarships will be notified by email and a status page update by the middle of March.

Top UF Scholarships
1. Admissions Honors Scholarship
Those who are awarded the opportunity to join the University Research Scholars Program will receive a $2,000 residential tuition discount (with $500 waived each fall and spring term).
It is not necessary to submit a separate application, additional papers, or current data for examination.
Since this residential tuition waiver is available to both Florida residents and non-residents of Florida, the classification of residency for the purposes of tuition is not taken into consideration.
This scholarship might be paired with the merit-based scholarships stated before, but it would reduce the amount charged to any Florida PrePaid accounts (Presidential and Out-of-State Tuition Waivers).
2. Bright Futures Scholarships
The Florida Department of Education provides Florida Bright Futures Scholarships for high school graduates.
Call (888) 827-2004 or visit Floridavisit Florida Student Financial Aid for further details before you graduate from high school.
You can contact the UF Office of Student Financial Assistance & Scholarships (SFA) with additional inquiries (SFA).
3. National Merit Finalists/Benacquisto Scholarship
The National Merit Corporation will present a $500 annual National Merit Scholarship to National Merit Finalists who select the University of Florida as their top college option by May 31 of each year.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation sends quarterly lists of finalists who have identified UF as their top choice starting in early March and continues every month until early June.
The University of Florida’s National Merit Scholarship meets the requirements for the Benacquisto Scholarship, which is offered by the Florida Department of Education and covers the remaining institutionally posted cost of attendance (less Bright Futures and the qualifying National Merit Scholarship) for in-state residents.
The Benacquisto Scholarship Program is funded by the state and is therefore susceptible to change. Each year, the government appropriates money for it. For more information, refer to the Benacquisto Scholarship requirements.
4. Lombardi and Stamps Scholarships
The John V. Lombardi Award and the Stamps Family Scholarship are given by the Honors Program to incoming students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, community service, and high moral character.
Since the application period for these awards opens in the fall of each year, students should submit their applications during their senior year of high school.
The school may submit up to two seniors who are finishing high school, and the adviser may also submit homeschooled children.

5. Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars
The major goal of the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program is to help low-income, first-generation college students graduate by providing them with financial aid and one-on-one support.
To ensure that students succeed at UF by addressing systemic barriers and issues, the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program offers a full grant and scholarship financial help package in addition to a comprehensive support program.
To be eligible, applicants must first be admitted as first-year students at the University of Florida.
After filing their FAFSA, students who match the basic eligibility standards are invited to complete the MFOS Supplemental Form (FAFSA).
Students who qualify for the program must have a family income of less than $55,000 per year and assets of less than $35,000 in total.
Each scholarship offers the chance to develop as a person while not having to worry about money. Scholarships from UF are no different, therefore you should thoroughly consider this option.
