Eligibility for the UCLA Scholarship

The applicants must fulfill each of the requirements listed below in order to be eligible:

1. You must be a full-time UCLA student for the entire 2021-2022 academic year.

2. The US. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and International Students are eligible to apply.

3. You must be officially declared as an Economics or a Business Economics major in the Fall Quarter of 2020 to be eligible to apply.

How to Apply for the UCLA Scholarship

Applicants must apply for admission to the university. Submit the documents as a pdf via the Message Center.

Applicants must submit all the Documents at the University:

1. A list of the scholarships for which you are applying

2. One to five sentences indicating why you qualify for each scholarship you are applying for.

3. Your most recent UCLA Degree Audit Report (DAR) with your Fall 2021 grades posted

4. A cover sheet

5. A one-page resume

6. A one-page personal statement

7. A proposed budget for the academic year, detailing your income and expenses.

8. A summary of the financial aid awards, loans, scholarships, etc. that you have or will receive during the academic year (if applicable)

9. Admission Requirements: Candidates must have the following:

10. Grades and GPA (3.93 average unweighted GPA for fall 2020 admits)

11. The rigor of your high school curriculum

Language Requirement for the UCLA Scholarship

You will be needed to prove your English proficiency if you have had less than three years of instruction in English and if you finished all or part of your high school or secondary education in a nation where English was not the language of instruction.
