TVS Cheema Scholarship

The TVS Cheema Scholarship 2024, provided by the TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation (TVSCSF), offers financial assistance to students residing in Tamil Nadu who are either applying for or currently pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree or diploma at recognized universities within the state.

This scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel and mess charges, or transportation expenses, depending on the student’s needs.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, candidates must:

1. Be a resident of Tamil Nadu

2. Be of any gender (male or female)

3. Belong to any category (open to all)

4. Be applying for or already pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree or diploma at an accredited university in Tamil Nadu

Have secured admission through:

1. TNEA counselling for engineering courses

2. Merit list for regular diploma courses

Academic Performance

Undergraduate engineering degree: At least 60% marks in Class 12.

Diploma: At least 60% marks in Class 10.

Family Income

Income Limit: Families earning over INR 8 lakh annually are ineligible for engineering scholarships, while those earning over INR 5 lakh are ineligible for diploma scholarships.

How to Apply

To apply for the program, follow these steps:

1. Visit our official website.

2. Carefully review all the program details.

3. Click on “Register” and complete the registration by entering the required information.

4. After registering successfully, use the credentials provided to log in to your account.

5. Once logged in, click on the “Apply” button.

6. You will be taken to the application form; fill in all the necessary details accurately.

7. Prepare the required documents as listed in the application requirements.

8. Upload these documents in the appropriate sections of the application form.

9. Review all the information you have entered.

10. Finally, click on the “Submit” button to submit your application.

Documents Required

1. Photograph of the applicant.

2. Class 10 marksheet (for diploma) or Class 12 marksheet (for degree).

3. Government-issued address proof (e.g., Aadhaar card).

4. Proof of family income (any one of the following documents):

  • Income Tax Return (ITR) statement
  • Salary slip
  • Form 16 (if salaried)
  • BPL/Ration Card
  • Income proof certificate signed by Tehsildar/BDP (for rural areas)
  • Letter/certificate from Gram Panchayat (signed and stamped)
