Tuition Exchange (TE) is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for the dependents of eligible faculty and staff at all Tuition Exchange member schools. Carefully read to the end to get all the information.

TE is available to eligible employees at member schools.  Eligible employees are defined by the employee’s school. Tuition Exchange is not an employee benefit nor is it a guaranteed scholarship opportunity.

Does TE Share Collect Information?

TE will only disclose or share personally identifiable information with a third party when:

1. Required by law or under a governmental request

2. Needed to provide requested services

3. Engaging trusted service providers (SOCS and HBP) who assume the responsibilities of the data processor to perform functions on TE’s behalf

4 Requested by a TE member, which may only be used once for a designated and agreed-upon purpose

Following TE’s standard liability waiver and release for the use of name and photo for a TE program.

TE reserves the right to disclose personal information when it has reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who is violating its terms of use or may be causing injury to or interference with other users or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities.

How Long Does TE Retain Information?

When permitted by law, TE keeps the data it has gathered until told to erase it.

For contacts at TE member institutions, TE retains acquired data for the length of membership when local legislation does not enable indefinite keeping.

Information gathered through contacts at nonmember institutions is kept on file for up to two years from the date of TE’s most recent communication.

How Can you Access your Information?

You can view and edit your personal information on the TE website. You may request a copy of the information TE has on file about you or request that your personal information is deleted by contacting TE at [email protected]
