Taraba State University Cut-off Mark 2023

TASU’s current UTME cut-off mark is 160. Taraba State University, Jalingo, is asking applicants who chose TSU as their first option in the recently concluded UTME to apply for admission into their preferred department.

TASU also includes additional forms for candidates who did not meet the department’s minimal cut-off point.

Candidates must have at least 5 credits in their WASSCE or NECO results, as well as a UTME score of at least 160.

TASU Admission Requirements For 2023/2024

The following are the prerequisites for those who desire to get admission to TASU via JAMB (UTME):

1. A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in a maximum of two sittings.

2. Select the appropriate JAMB subject combination for your course.

3. To be admitted to TASU, candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 160 in the recently completed JAMB UTME test.

4. TASU must be your first choice of university.

5. You must take the TASU POST UTME/SCREENING in order to be considered for admission for the next year.

6. Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

TASU Requirements For Direct Entry (DE)

The following are the prerequisites for candidates seeking admission to Taraba State University via Direct Entry:

1. A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in a maximum of two sittings.

2. Other qualities acceptable to the University Senate and comparable to (a) and (b) above. Candidates must meet such Faculty/Departmental entry criteria in addition to the following minimum admission requirements.

3. Bachelor’s degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a related discipline.

4. Direct admission students must acquire the TASU Direct Entry form from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the TASU Portal.

5. A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other relevant qualifications.
