Benefits of SERB Ramanujan Fellowship

Selected candidates will receive fellowship benefits for a fixed duration of five years, with no possibility of extension. Here are the benefits provided to recipients:

1. A consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 1,35,000, which includes HRA (House Rent Allowance).

2. Each Fellow will be granted Rs. 7.00 lakh per year for research-related expenses, covering consumables, travel, research personnel, and unforeseen contingencies.

3. An additional Rs. 60,000 per year will be allocated to each Fellow for overhead charges.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this opportunity should meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a Ph.D. in Science or Engineering, a Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology, or an MD in Medicine.

2. Possess adequate professional experience.

3. Be under the age of 40.

4. Demonstrate a strong and impressive track record, substantiated by their research publications and accolades.

5. Not hold a permanent, tenure-track, or contractual position at any Indian Institute or University.
