About Punjab Scholarship

The state of Punjab offers a number of scholarships to students, which are listed on the official website scholarships.punjab.gov.in.

Applications for the Punjab Scholarships 2024 are now being accepted from UG and PG students enrolled in Classes 1–12.

The application process for numerous pre- and post-matriculated Punjab Government scholarships is free for students from SC, OBC, and other minority groups.

Students must apply for the Punjab Scholarship online via the website or through their respective universities, providing all necessary supporting documentation.

The 2024 Punjab Scholarship deadline is approaching quickly; applications must be submitted by November 2024 at the latest in order to prevent any issues.

The Punjab scholarship money has to be credited to the student’s account as soon as the supporting documentation is confirmed.

The selected students stand to receive a maximum of 20,000 Rupees. The criteria for selection are specific to each scholarship and take into account variables including income, merit, and category-based standards.

For ease of completion, students must prepare a few necessary documents before completing the Punjab scholarship application. The application for the Punjab Scholarships 2024 must be submitted in soft copy.

The Punjab Scholarship application must be finished by the deadline in 2024. It can be submitted online or offline.

1. Start by visiting scholarships.punjab.gov.in.

2. Go to Student Corner and choose “Student Registration.”

3. A new tab will appear; press Enter.

Application Procedure

Scholarship	Category	Eligibility
For SC Students post Matric Scholarship Punjab	SC	Applications for this grant are open to students engaged in post-matriculation programs, such as class 11 to postdoctoral programs. The annual income of a family can’t be more than INR 2.50 lakh.
Pre-Matric Program for SC Scholarship Punjab Students	SC	9th and 10th graders are qualified for the award. The annual income of their household shall not exceed INR 2 lakh. Students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship if they are already recipients of another centrally funded scholarship.
Post-Matric Scholarship Punjab to OBC Students	OBC	The money is available to students attending accredited schools or institutions who are enrolled in post-matriculation courses (class 11 to postdoctoral). The INR 1 Lakh yearly income limit means that the family’s yearly income cannot be more than INR 1 Lakh.
Punjab’s Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students	OBC	For this Punjab grant, students in grades 1 through 10 are eligible to apply. The family’s yearly income can only be INR 44,500 at best.
Chief Minister Scholarship Program	All	There are scholarships available for worthy children in class 10. They must be diploma courses from government polytechnics in order to meet the requirements. They must score at least 60% of the total points that are available.
Punjab’s Pre-Matric Scholarship Program for Minorities	All	Students from minority communities that identify as Sikh, Muslim, Parsi, Christian, Jains, or Buddhist are eligible to apply for this scholarship. They must be enrolled in grades 1 through 10 in a public or private school. At least half of the points from the most recent qualifying exam should go to them. The family’s income should not exceed one lakh rupees per year.
Post Matric Scholarship Punjab for Minorities	All	Minority students are encouraged to apply, including Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jains, Parsis, and Buddhists. They have to be enrolled at the post-matriculation level (class 11 to PhD) in a private or public school, college, or university. The family’s total annual income from all sources should not exceed INR 2 lakh.
Punjab Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minority Groups	All	It is open to students who identify as members of minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists). Their course of study should involve undergraduate or graduate work in technical, nursing, pharmacy, professional, management, etc. In the previous qualifying exam, they ought to have scored at least half of the points that might be awarded. The family’s annual income should not exceed INR 2.50 lakh.
Scholarship for Primary School Girls from BC/EBC Families, Punjab	BC/EBC	Female pupils enrolled in primary school are eligible to get this prize. Attendance at least 75% of the lessons is required. Land ownership cannot exceed five acres for any parent or guardian. A family’s annual income should not exceed one lakh Indian rupees.
