About POLAC

The Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) is a federal university in Wudil, Kano State, Nigeria.

In 2012, the Federal Government of Nigeria designated the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil in Kano State as a degree-awarding school.

In addition, the National Universities Commission (NUC) designated the Academy as the 37th Federal University and the 124th University in Nigeria.

POLAC UTME and Direct Entry Admission Requirements

1. Applicants for admission to the Academy must be Nigerian citizens.

2. You must be between the ages of 17 and 22.

3. Males must be at least 1.67 meters (5 feet 6 inches) tall, while females must be at least 1.62 meters (5 feet 4 inches).

Furthermore, male applicants must have an enlarged chest size of at least 86 cm (34 inches).

4. All candidates must be free of any physical or mental deformity.

Other POLAC Requirements

1. Candidates must have got a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

Alternatively, the National Examinations Council (NECO), or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) in not more than two sittings.

However, including a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics, as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study at the Academy.

2. Candidates must also do well in both the written exam and the interview, as well as pass physical and psychological fitness exams.

3. Only those who pass the Selection Exam will be called to the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Board Interview.

4. It will publish the list of successful candidates on our website and in some national newspapers.

How to Join the Nigerian Police Academy

Applicants who got the minimum UTME marks set by JAMB and purchased the Academy’s online application form would be eligible to appear for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination when it is scheduled.

Submitting Applications For The Nigeria Police Academy

1. Online applications are required.

2. Candidates must download the Acknowledgement Form after submitting their applications.

3. Candidates who scored at or above the national cut-off level will be allowed to download and print their examination cards.

How To Apply For The Nigerian Police Academy (POLAC)

They urge interested Applicants to obtain or produce a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code by visiting the Nigeria Police Academy’s website at www.polac.edu.ng.

The received RRR number may make a payment of N3,000.00 at any commercial bank branch in Nigeria.

Applicants must additionally!!! apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Please keep in mind that candidates do not need to name the Police Academy as their preferred university on the JAMB form.
