About the PAPSSN Scholarship

The PAPSSN consortium has pledged to give women and applicants from underrepresented or disadvantaged groups 50% of its scholarships.

They are adamant about maintaining a 50:50 gender balance, so women will be granted an additional 900 euros when they arrive at the host institution.

You cannot apply for this award if you have previously or currently received an intra-ACP or intra-African scholarship.

Five (5) African partner institutions jointly provide PAPSSN scholarships, allowing chosen staff members and students to pursue postgraduate studies, research, teaching, or training.

The five (5) African partner institutions:

  • African Partners Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST)
  • Botswana Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia Copperbelt University (CBU)
  • Zambia, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN)
  • Nigeria University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)
  • South Africa Technical Partner: Università di Bologna, Italy.
