OBC Scholarship

Central Sector Scheme for National Overseas
Candidates who want to enrol in a master’s or doctoral program at a foreign university may apply for the Central Sector Scheme for National Overseas, an OBC scholarship.
Professional courses in subjects including engineering and medicine are offered, as well as management and agriculture. Each subject receives 25 scholarships each year, with 30% of those going to female applicants.
Candidates seeking a master’s degree are eligible for a 3-year fellowship, while those seeking a doctorate are awarded a 4-year fellowship. payment of visa fees, flights, payment for local travel, and incidental travelling allowance are additional benefits.
Eligibility Criteria for Central Sector Scheme for National Overseas
1. Applicants who are pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree are welcome to apply. The applicant must have received at least 60% in their prior course.
2. Candidates must not be older than 35, and their family’s annual income from all sources must not exceed INR 3 lakh.

Application Procedure
1. Applicants must receive an application form from the Indian government’s Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
2. Complete the necessary fields and affix the pertinent files that are listed in the application.
3. When all necessary procedures have been completed, return it to the Ministry.
4. Candidates who are employed must submit the application through their employment. Such candidates must additionally include their pay stubs and information of their tax assessment.
Selection Procedure
A ministry-constituted selection committee will carefully examine each contender before choosing one. Candidates who have already gained admission to a foreign university will be given preference.
OBC Scholarship Merit for Delhi Students
The Merit Scholarship for OBC Students is a scholarship program open to OBC students enrolled in grades 6 through 12.
Additionally, students pursuing professional programs like engineering or medicine are eligible for the prize.
The maximum monthly OBC scholarship amount for students enrolled in technical courses is INR 1620; the maximum annual obc scholarship amount for other courses is INR 4500.

Students in grades six through twelve are qualified.
Applicants for professional programs must have earned at least 60% in their Class 12 diploma or its equivalent.
The family’s total income shouldn’t be more than INR 2,00,000.

Application Procedure
1. Applicants must go to e-District Delhi and complete the necessary information. There isn’t an offline OBC scholarship application form, so the entire process is completed online.
2. Uploading required papers includes income certificate, caste certificate, copy of bank passbook, fee receipt, passport-sized photo, and Aadhar card.
National Fellowship
The National Fellowship for OBC is a scholarship that is administered by the Government of India’s Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Its goal is to support OBC scholarship plan students who want to pursue additional degrees and courses financially.
There are 300 scholarships available for Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) and Junior Research Fellows (JRFs). All universities approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are eligible to participate in the program.
The JRF fellowship lasts for two years, but candidates can apply for a three-year extension as an SRF as long as their research is forward-thinking.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must be OBC and have supporting documentation for their status.
2. The combined income of the household from all sources should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
3. Obligated to have finished post-graduation
4. Candidates who identify as transgender may apply. Reservations will be granted in accordance with the guidelines established by the Indian government.
5. Candidates are eligible to receive the fellowship if they have already registered for an MPhil or PhD.
6. The candidate is chosen according to their merit.

Application Procedure
1. To apply for the scholarship, candidates must go to the official UGC website and click on the pertinent links.
2. Candidates must complete both sections of the application, which are offered in two parts.
3. Complete the necessary areas, including those for contact information and personal data.
4. It is necessary to put up educational details such as research topics, postgraduate qualifications, and institute details.

ONGC Scholarship
OBC candidates are eligible for a total of 1000 scholarships from ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation).
OBC students enrolled in first-year graduate or postgraduate courses are eligible for the award. Those who pass will receive a monthly stipend of INR 4,000 for the length of the course.

1. Candidates must be enrolled in professional programs like engineering or medicine and be in their first year of study.

Application Procedure
1. The entire application process takes place online.
2. Candidates cannot access the ONGC scholarship form without first visiting the organization’s official website.

Selection Procedure

Post-Matric Scholarship
The goal of post-matric scholarships is to give OBC and other underprivileged students financial assistance so they can finish their post-secondary education.

Pre-Matric Scholarship
Pre-matric Scholarships are given to OBC kids who are enrolled in government or accredited private institutions to pursue pre-matriculation. A stipend of up to INR 500 is given to each student each month.
Eligibility
The candidate’s family income cannot be more than INR 2,50,000 annually.
