UNIZIK Cut off Mark 2023

UNIZIK’s current UTME cut-off mark is 180. The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, is asking applicants who chose UNIZIK as their first option in the recently completed UTME to apply for admission to their preferred department.

UNIZIK additionally includes extra forms for candidates who did not meet the department’s minimal cut-off point. Candidates must have at least 5 credits in their WASSCE or NECO results, as well as a UTME score of at least 180.

UNIZIK Departmental Cut-Off Mark

The departmental cut-off point at UNIZIK is 180. Any further adjustments to this cut-off point will be posted on the website of The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Only those who have chosen UNIZIK as their first option are allowed to apply.

Note that the post-UTME cutoff values are 50% for courses with a JAMB cutoff of 200, 45 percent for 180, and 40% for 160.

UNIZIK Admission Requirements For 2023/2024

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into UNIZIK through JAMB (UTME):

  • A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in a maximum of two sittings.
  • For your course, you must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination.
  • To get admitted to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, candidates must have scored at least 160 in the recently completed JAMB UTME examination.
  • Your first choice of university should be UNIZIK.
  • To be considered for admission, you must participate in the UNIZIK POST UTME/SCREENING.
  • Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

UNIZIK Requirements For Direct Entry (DE) 2023/2024

The following are the prerequisites for candidates seeking admission to Nnamdi Azikiwe University through Direct Entry:

  • A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in a maximum of two sittings.
  • Candidates must have two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in topics relating to their field of study.
  • JUPEB/A’ Level passes in related topics are required.
  • Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a discipline relating to your course of study.
  • Candidates for direct entrance must acquire the UNIZIK Direct Entry form from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the UNIZIK Portal.
  • A Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), or other Advanced Level Certificates is required.
