Nigerian Navy Requirements for Job Vacancies 2023
Before you consider applying to the Navy, do well to see if you have fulfilled the requirements below:
➢ Must be of Nigerian Origin
➢ Must have sat for and obtained the Primary School Leaving Certificate
➢ Must have duly completed his NYSC and have obtained his Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
➢ He/She should be between 22 and 28 years old at the time of application
➢ Applicants must be single with no children before joining.
➢ Must print out Parent/Guardian Consent Form and Local Government Attestation Form.
➢ Applicants with any of the following defects are not allowed to apply:
- Short sight
- Ear problem
- Previous orthopedic operation
- Flat foot
- Below the required height (Male 1.70, Female 1.67)
- Fracture
- Stammering or any natural disability.
➢ Applicants must be free from any previous conviction by a court of law on criminal charges.
➢ Except for Imams, Chaplains, and Medical Consultants should not exceed 30 years and 40 years respectively.

On a further date, the Nigerian Navy recruitment operation for 2023 will begin with the screening of candidates’ credentials and an aptitude exam at specified centers nationwide.
Applicants are hereby advised to desist from submitting numerous online applications. Multiple submissions from one candidate will disqualify such a fellow.
