About the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme

Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme provides opportunities to Nigerian graduates. The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), which was launched on August 31, 2021, is a youth empowerment partnership effort between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The program aims to match bright graduates with local career opportunities that utilize their expertise while also providing them with world-class practical knowledge and applicable skills.

Transparency and Accountability

The NJFP is based on transparency and accountability. The program has a strong financial management system and internal controls in place, allowing financial transfers to be conducted directly to participating youngsters.

To ensure the NJFP remains responsible to its participants, partners, and long-term objectives, program management, procurement, and outsourcing are monitored and audited using a unique Monitoring and Evaluation methodology.

Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme Eligibility

To be an eligible fellow, you must:

1. Must be a Nigerian national.

2. Be a recent (Bachelor’s Degree or HND Certificate) graduate from any subject who graduated no earlier than 2017.

3. Graduate with a Second Class Lower (2.2) for a Bachelor’s Degree or an Upper Credit (> 3.00) for an HND Certificate.

4. You must be at least 30 years old.

5. Not currently engaged in any employment.

6. Obtained completed the obligatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have an exemption certificate from the NYSC

7. Show interest/commitment to your chosen job choice.

8. Demonstrate an interest in and dedication to Nigeria’s socioeconomic development.

9. Have good time management skills and a professional demeanor.

10. Have excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Eligible For Host Organization

To be an eligible host organization, you must provide current regulatory paperwork, such as :

1. CAC Registration Certificate

2. Provision of a formal letter of interest outlining a thorough grasp of the NJFP’s aims and a willingness to support the program through fellow placements.

3. Exact descriptions of available position criteria are provided.

4. Agreement to help fellows with mentorship through focused sessions with currently experienced professionals within their businesses.

5. Acceptance of the program’s standards and signing of a code of conduct.

6. Have nondiscrimination rules in place for gender, race, religion, and handicap status, as well as anti-sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse policies (PSHEA).

7. Have no criminal history, convictions, or affiliations with prohibited organizations, such as terrorists, drug traffickers, illegal commerce, or child labor.
