  • Applicants must be in their second year of study or above.
  • Applicants must have at least 5 0′ level credit passes (English & Mathematics inclusive) at one sitting.
  • Applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above

2. CoreNet Global 2023 Academic Challenge for Students

A non-profit organization with its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia (US), CoreNet Global represents close to 10,000 members in 50 countries and has strategic oversight over the real estate holdings of significant enterprises.

The organization’s purpose is to improve the practice of corporate real estate through networking through 46 local chapters and networking organizations around the world, professional development opportunities, publications, research, conferences, and designations.

Aim and Benefits of CoreNet Academic Challenge

  • The winning team will be awarded US$5,000.

Requirements for CoreNet Academic Challenge Qualification

The competition is open to all students (undergraduate/graduate, full-time/part-time) who are currently registered at a recognized university.

Three teams, with a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) students each, will be selected to compete in the final round.

Interested students will be required to submit a registration form, respond to several questions, and create a compelling presentation as discussed in the Competition Brief.

3. Josephus Foundation 2024 Scholarship for Nigerians

By way of the University Chancellor, Chief (Dr.) Tunde Afolabi, MFR, the Josephus Foundation established the very selective Josephus Foundation Scholarship.

It is a component of the institution’s support services for extraordinarily gifted but underprivileged students who might not otherwise be able to finance postsecondary education at a university.

The scholarship is a partial grant that only covers the cost of tuition and housing; the beneficiaries are still responsible for paying any additional municipal and service fees as listed in the undergraduate students’ fee schedule, which is published on the university website.

The scholarship will be offered on an annual basis to newly admitted (UTME, JUBEP, and direct entry) students and could be held, subject to satisfactory performance, for the duration of a beneficiary’s program of study.

Josephus scholarship is a partial scholarship that covers tuition and accommodation fees only. i.e 650,000 off the Total fee

It could be held for the duration of a beneficiary’s program of study so far the beneficiary maintains a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.50 to qualify for annual renewal of the scholarship.

passed at only one sitting ordinary level English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology/Agricultural Science/Geography at least at the credit level. In addition, Direct Entry students must have at least Credit at an advanced level in any 3 relevant science subjects;

perform satisfactorily in the University Scholarship Screening Examination; and

Maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.50 to qualify for annual renewal of the scholarship.

4. General Electric Early Identification (EID) Undergraduate Internship Program 

This is a 3-months undergraduate internship role in the Services ITR organization for Nigeria. The role requires working closely with the assigned businesses to provide execution support to ongoing services at the customer site. This role may also require interface with GE customers and with other GE counterparts.

GE Nigeria undergraduate interns will undergo learning experiences and technical development including:

5. Seplat Energy Undergraduate Internship Scheme

Seplat Energy aims to deliver a best-in-class internship experience.

An internship at Seplat Energy offers undergraduate students an opportunity to boost employability by translating their education into practical professional experience and gaining exposure to the energy industry.
