3. Frank J. Richter Scholarship Award

The $1,000 Frank J. Richter Scholarship Award is one of the distinctive scholarships offered by the American Association of Railroad Superintendents (AARS).

6. John Kitt Memorial Scholarship

Undoubtedly the most unusual award for left-handed people is the John Kitt Memorial Scholarship, one of the prizes given out by the American Association of Candy Technologists (AACT).

To be eligible for the $5,000 prize, applicants must be at least sophomores majoring in food science, chemistry, biology, nutrition, culinary arts, or a related field at a four-year university in North America.

Left-handedness has been linked to an increased risk for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

If you have been diagnosed with this neurodevelopmental disability, the Michael Yasick ADHD Scholarship may be able to provide you with $2,000 for schooling and pre-paid coaching services from the Edge Foundation.
