Who Can Apply?
The site has been made available to individuals who want to change the university they selected for their matriculation by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Candidates for the UTME who want to transfer from their current institution to a different one can now do so.
The JAMB Change of Institution form is available for just N2,500 (two thousand five hundred naira).
The JAMB Change of Course/Institution Process
To make any of the aforementioned corrections, take the following actions:
- Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ to access the JAMB portal.
- Use your password and email address to log in.
- On the left side, select “Registration (2024 only)” from the service list.
- Choose “2024 UTME Data Correction” or “2024 DE Data Correction” from the drop-down menu, depending on what applies to you.
- Make the payment now.
Visit the nearest JAMB office or a JAMB-accredited center to finish the repair process after making your payment.
Following Up on Your Application:
There are a few actions you can take to make sure your institutional change goes through. These are in detail:
- Enter your password and username to access your JAMB profile.
- Then select “Check Admission Status.”
- Next, choose “JAMB CAPS.”
- To see if the institution change is reflected, click the “MY CHOICES” tab on the “JAMB CAPS” website.
Checking Application Status
This could take a few days, or it could take as little as twenty-four hours. There’s no specific time estimate for this.
