DAAD Scholarship Coverage
The following benefits are provided by the DAAD Scholarship 2024 for Masters and PhD Germany recipients:
1. Monthly payments of 861 euros for graduates and 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates, depending on an academic level.
2. Travel allowance, unless provided by the home nation or another source of support.
3. Contributions to health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
4. A one-time study allowance.
Scholarship recipients may be eligible for the following additional advantages under certain conditions:
1. Subsidized monthly rent.
2. Contribution to tuition costs levied by the institution (up to € 500.- each term).
Eligibility Criteria for DAAD Scholarship 2024
To be eligible for DAAD Scholarship 2024 for Masters and Ph.D. Germany, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. International students from all countries are welcome to apply.
2. If applying for a master’s degree program, a candidate must have a four-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
3. If applying for a doctorate degree program, a candidate must hold a master’s degree or its equivalent.
4. The candidate must have at least two years of professional experience.
5. International students who have been in Germany for more than 15 years are ineligible to apply.

English or German.
1. English is the language of teaching for foreign programs. Typically, you must present an English language certificate, such as the TOEFL or IELTS.
2. The language of teaching for other programs is German. A German language certificate, such as DSH or TestDaF, is frequently necessary.

How to Apply
1. All candidates who are interested in the scholarship must apply directly through the official website.
2. On the official website, click on the Application Procedure to begin the application process.
3. An applicant is not required to apply to the institution directly.
4. An applicant must apply to only one postgraduate program. (Maximum of three courses)
NOTE: You can apply for up to three courses. If you are applying to multiple courses, please specify them in the order of priority on the DAAD application forms. Choose a host university/institution in Germany) and do not modify the priority on the application form!

Step-by-Step Application and Selection Procedure
1. Select appropriate courses of interest. (A maximum of three courses may be applied for.)
2. Apply to institutions that offer those courses.
3. You send your full application(s) (together with the required documentation) to the universities.
4. A selection committee recommends applicants for DAAD scholarships.
5. The DAAD will contact the recommended candidates to request that they upload their complete application to the DAAD Portal. (DAAD will send you an email with a link to the DAAD Portal.)
6. The selection process will be completed, and the nominated applicants will be notified.
IMPORTANT: Make a copy of each document in your application, since those papers (as PDF files) must be sent to the DAAD Portal if you are recommended for a DAAD scholarship!
