Folds of Honor Scholarship: A true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. To reciprocate the love, this scholarship was created, keep calm and read to the end to get detailed information.

Folds of Honor Scholarship

What began when a patriot saw the awful cost of freedom is today impacting the lives of thousands of deserving families.

Through the Folds of Honor, Lt Col Rooney has dedicated his life to inspiring patriotic Americans and overcoming sacrifice with optimism.

Folds of Honor Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to the spouses and kids of America’s handicapped or deceased service members since 2007.

The aim has now been extended to include the families of American first responders. Those that defend our liberties and their families will be aware they are not forgotten while they are in charge.

1. Educational Scholarships for Military Families

This scholarship is for dependents and/or spouses of fallen or disabled US service members who are eligible to apply for scholarships.

Scholarship Guidelines

1. The application period is from February 1 to March 31 every year. The deadline will be extended to the end of the first working day after March 31 if March 31 falls on a weekend.

2. Awards for scholarships range from $5,000 to $2,500 (with a $250 minimum payment) per term. After receiving a check, if it turns out that the recipient has an unmet need of less than $2,500, Folds of Honor will only meet that student’s real unmet need, as determined by the balance of their school account. The remainder of the cash will be kept by Folds of Honor for future use by the student during the same academic year.

3. Applicants must reapply each year they are interested in receiving funds from Folds of Honor.

4. All application information must be submitted through the Folds of Honor online portal.

5. Documentation is not accepted via US mail, fax, email, or over the phone.

6. Offer or denial notifications will be sent in mid-July. All funds are mailed directly to the educational institution. No funds are sent directly to an awardee.

  • Annual Application Window: Feb 1 – Mar 31
