ESA scholarship encourages and supports those who aspire to careers in the video game industry, whether it’s playing or helping to create games. They also know that a college education is expensive and that the industry is continually seeking ways to increase its diversity.

ESA Scholarship

Twenty-one years ago, the U.S. video game industry established the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) Foundation.

Since its founding, the ESA Foundation has demonstrated the industry’s commitment to improving lives and expanding the horizons of underrepresented young people by operating programs enabling students, schools, and nonprofits to harness the power of interactive technologies.

About the ESA Scholarship

The ESA Foundation is excited to offer three collegiate scholarships to students and hopes it will expand the video game industry through play, design, creation, and innovation.

To date, the Foundation’s scholarship program has helped over 400 women, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming and minority students across the U.S. follow their dreams of earning video game-related degrees or participating in collegiate esports.
