About Dr Ambedkar Scholarship

An effort for Class 11 to PhD students is the Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Classes, Himachal Pradesh 2022.

The scholarship is being offered by the Himachal Pradesh government. The program seeks to give OBC, EBC, and DNT students financial support so they can finish their studies.

The chosen applicants would get up to INR 10,000 in year tuition expenses as well as academic allowances.

Eligibility Requirement

In order to qualify, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Be an Indian national who falls under the OBC, EBC, or DNT categories

2. Reside in Himachal Pradesh

3. Have passed the Matriculation, Higher Secondary, or any other higher examination offered by a recognized university or Board of Secondary Education

4. Come from a family whose annual income, whether from employment or not, is less than INR 1 lakh.

7. Self-attested copy of previous academic mark sheet

8. Fee receipt of current course year

How to Apply

The following procedures can be used by qualified applicants to apply for the scholarship:

1. Select the ‘Apply Now’ option from the list below.

2. Open ‘Applicant Corner’ and select ‘New Registration’.

3. Next, select “Click here for additional scholarship programs hosted on NSP for Academic Year 2022–2023.”

4. After carefully reading the instructions, choose the project, and click “Continue,”

5. Type in the applicant’s name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, and state of residence, along with the scholarship category (pre-matriculation), scheme type (scholarship scheme), and gender.

6. Give the bank’s information (name, account number, IFSC code).

7. Click “Register” after choosing your bank account number or Aadhaar as your identifying information.

8. After the mobile number is confirmed, an OTP is produced.

9. Proceed to log in with your OTP and complete the application.

10. An application ID and password will be generated upon the application form’s successful submission, and these can be used going forward.

Terms and Conditions

1. For the purposes of academic allowance, students pursuing CA, ICWA, CS, or ICFA shall be considered day scholars.

2. Students enrolled in online or correspondence courses are not eligible for academic financial aid.

3. Students who learn online or via correspondence must pay their tuition.

4. Within an academic year, the scholarship will be awarded for ten months.

5. Funds are allocated with 30% designated for female students and 5% for students with impairments.

6. The scholarship is awarded based on the students’ acceptable behaviour and progress.

7. The Government of India retains the right to modify the scheme’s provisions at any point.

8. Once granted, the award will be paid out until the course is completed, provided that the student maintains a good grade point average and attends 75% of the classes each academic year.

9. Students who did not advance to the next class or level will not get a scholarship.

10. A change in the study plan will not be accepted.

11. The program’s scholarship will be extended for the duration of the first year of the postgraduate program, provided that excellent behaviour and maintaining the required attendance are maintained.

12. Upon receipt of an annual progress report, which will be approved by the administrative head of the University, Institution, or College, the scholarship will be extended for the subsequent academic year.

13. Should a student discontinue their studies for personal reasons or present incorrect information in their online application, their scholarship would be cancelled.

14. Candidates from one state who are enrolled in classes in another will be given scholarships by their home state and will submit their applications to the appropriate state authorities.
