Cameron Impact Scholarship is a full-tuition, four-year undergraduate scholarship that focuses on making a positive impact. It is given each year to 10–15 outstanding high school students who have excelled in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and academics.

The Cameron Impact Scholar stands out from their classmates in that they want to make a real difference in their communities and the rest of the globe.

Our Scholar intends to customize their education to that aim because they want to contribute to good forces for change.

About Cameron Impact Scholarship

The Cameron Impact Scholarship fully pays the recipient’s tuition, fees, and books at any accredited college or institution with a U.S. campus.

All applicants who meet the GPA and citizenship requirements are eligible for the Cameron Impact Scholarship because it is a merit-based initiative, regardless of their color, socioeconomic situation, religion, sexual orientation, or any other background characteristics.

We are seeking young leaders who have shown passion and dedication to making any kind of beneficial impact.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

In many professional occupations, there are endless opportunities to have a beneficial impact. The Cameron Impact Scholar is committed to serving society throughout its lifetime and has the capacity and the desire to do so.

A quarter or about 25% of the scholarships will be given by the Foundation to people pursuing careers in government, nonprofit organizations, education, the military, or other fields where public service is their stated professional goal.

Eligibility for the Cameron Impact Scholarship is based on the following criteria.

The applicant must:

1. Maintain a minimum, cumulative, unweighted GPA of a 3.7/4.0 scale or equivalent in their high school studies;

2. Be a full citizen of the United States of America;

3. Be in the high school graduating Class of 2023, planning to enroll in a full-time course of study towards a degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the full academic year following high school graduation;

4. Show proven excellence in extracurricular activities, be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, demonstrate active participation in community service and/or civic-minded arenas; and

5. Submit the following three components by the Application Deadline

Online Application Requirement

  • Two required Letters of Recommendation; and
  • Transcript certifying academic performance.

Application Deadline Process

There are two opportunities to submit the Initial Online Application:

The early Application Deadline for the Class of 2025 is May 20, 2024, at 12:00 pm PT (NOON)

The regular Application Deadline for the Class of 2025 is September 9, 2024, at 12:00 pm PT (NOON)

Applications are accepted and evaluated continuously. Please be aware that the Foundation will only consider 3,000 Applications from the Class of 2025. If and when this limit is about to be reached, we will post a notice on the website and our social media accounts.

Selection Process

In the Fall of 2024, the Selection Committee will choose 75–100 Finalists for in-person interviews (usually at the applicant’s high school). In December 2024, the Cameron Impact Scholarship winners will be revealed.

For the four years that the Cameron Impact Scholarship is in effect, recipients are expected to attend an annual Cameron Impact Scholars Award Ceremony and Summit.

Important: Applicants are strongly advised to submit their application well in advance of the final deadline. The Foundation assumes no responsibility for an applicant’s technical submission issues encountered on the final due date.

Recommendations and Transcript may be uploaded directly within the Application when prompted OR e-mailed directly to the Foundation at [email protected]. Please submit only two Recommendation letters.

PLEASE NOTE that incomplete applications will not be reviewed or considered.

Applicants may not be related to, or have pre-existing relationships with any members of the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation staff, Board of Directors, or Selection Committee.
