About Caleb University (CUL)

On May 17, 2007, the Federal Government of Nigeria granted Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, a provisional license to operate as a private university. Caleb International College Ltd is the University’s Proprietor, with Dr. Ola Adebogun as Chairman and Visitor.

On January 21, 2008, the University began full academic operations with admission to three colleges: the College of Environmental Sciences and Management (COLENSMA), the College of Pure and Applied Sciences (COPAS), and the College of Social and Management Sciences (COSOMAS).

The University began operations in January 2008 from its designated Take-Off Site on Ikosi GRA, off CMD Road, and in November 2009 relocated to the 110-hectare permanent site at Km 15 Ikorodu-Itoikin Road, Imota, Lagos. Since 2011, the University has produced 11 batches of graduates who have been mobilized for the one-year required National Youth Service Scheme.

In 2012, the National Universities Commission assented to the initiation of Part-Time programmes at the Caleb Business School (CBS) and the take-off of the College of Postgraduate Studies (COPOS), beginning with the MSc Degree in Architecture in March 2013.
